Problem with setting my own image for material

Hello dears,

I've got really annoying problem with setting a custom image for wood material.

I start with Appearance, the I create new apperance and choose "wood". Next to image I click arrow and choose "wood" as well and custom my own wood image (please see below photo). screenshot1.png Then I select my object and  right click on my new appearance and click on "apply for selected" but nothing happens. It's ok when I try to make a new colour, but I can not change an image of object. I've tried many options and have no idea how to do it.

Thank you in advance

Hi! Just based on the image you attached, I don't see any reason why it does not work. Save the part. Close Inventor and restart it. Does it work now? If not, please share the file here so forum experts can take a look.

Many thanks!

Thank you,

I' ve tried restart program but it dosen't help either 😕

I followed some video tutorials for that issue and do everything step by step but I can't change tha image. Maybe there is something with Inventors setting or libriares...

Anyway you can find the file attached.

Hi! I believe it is a bug. The appearance only looks correct when the shaded mode is set to Realistic (View -> View Style). It should look the same in Shaded View. I will work with the project team to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Hmmm...

I've been messing around with my own and yours...

Trying to compare settings but they're very similar, I used pine needles for my CADMAS project no problems...

So it's not intentional and unliekly user caused...
