problem with opening new file and casual crash

hi everyone, i have some problems with my inventor, i cannot open files using the button on the home of inventor and sometimes the program crashes randomly.

when i push the button for new files a white box opens instead of the right one and then it says inventor doesnt responds

i hope someone could help me soon because in a few weeks i have an exam about inventor

Hi! A few possibilities. Maybe due to your Windows user profile, certain folders that Inventor relies on to start up a new document are blocked. Try running Inventor as Admin (right-click on Inventor desktop icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> check "Run as Admin").

Check your project settings and see if the \Design Data\ folder path is writeable. Make sure 2023.4.1 update is installed, along with all critical Windows update and the latest graphics driver.
