Anyone know what this means ?. I can't find anything that is "locked".

Thanks John,

 

The view was locked(master). Is there a way to get around having to change both level of detail and view representation or have them linked together ?.

I don't know of a way to link them so that when you change one the other changes automatically.
You can copy a view rep to level of detail.
