Presentation scene in IPN will not honor .AIM view rep appearance IV 2020

On some files, no matter what I try, i cannot get the same appearance (color) shown in the IAM view rep to show in the IPN. Associativity is checked on.

In the drawing (IDW) the exploded view will not match the other views made from AIM.

One of the parts has an overall black appearance applied & then individual faces were made white to represent a painted part. Other assembly models show this fine in the IPN so I am baffled. This was one of the many problems with IPN's I have experienced in past versions. It seems to be an unresolved bug.

Anyone have any suggestions ? I can provide files to review if needed.

Pretty sure this is a bug.. (or I know there is a bug related to certain workflows related to IPN/appearances not updating).. Your workflow/instance may not fall under that bug..

Sharing the files will likely be necessary here.. (be it here or with Autodesk support staff privately.. )

Hi! I have seen this behavior before. Indeed, it is like a Design View corruption. If you could share the files here so forum experts can take a look.

Many  thanks!

Hi Johnson,

These are proprietary company files so I cannot make them publicly available. Could you provide a link to a secure server where I can upload the PacknGo zip file. It's about 28 MB.

Thank you.
