point to point measurement on flat surface

Hello,  i have a flat surface  a rectangular shape filled with holes.

I need in drawing mode to show measurments from an edge of rectangulat to center of some circle inside it.

so i will get the vertical distance and horisontal distance between them.

Is there some manual that could help me?

Thanks.

Please tell me you tried the Dimension command?

This is what you're looking for, correct?

I take it you've just jumped right into Inventor without any type of training, formal or informal, am I correct?

If so, as I suggested in your other post, work thru the starting tutorials, they will help you a LOT.

Start with the basics and it'll walk you thru the process of building a part and an assembly as well as how to detail drawings of such. It'll save you a lot of frustration and time as well.

Feel free to reach out to me in pm for help, I'd be happy to assist.

Cheers,

Jim O'Flaherty

Hi!

It'a a simple task, you don't need a big manual:

Note:
The center marks are facultative, you don't need them to create the dimensions.

Tip:

If you already created the dimensions in the 3D model sketch, you can bring them back to the drawing, find in the image above the tool "Retrieve model annotations" and try it.
