Place structural components to an assembly from an Excel table

Hi all!

Is there a way to place structural components to an assembly from an Excel in inventor? It would be nice if we could also import the item name. Here's an example about the table.

ItemProfileQuantityLength
GADA103-FL80X120X1021 599.00
GADA104-FL80X120X1021 599.00
GADA105-FL80X120X102815.00
GADA106-FL80X120X102815.00
GADA107-FL120X120X122815.00
GADA108-FL120X120X122815.00
GADA109-FL120X120X1221 599.00
GADA110-FL120X120X1221 599.00
GADA111-FL65X65X724 700.00
GADA112-FL65X65X724 700.00
GADA113-FL60X60X623 910.00
GADA114-FL60X60X623 910.00
GADA115-NL50X50X522 940.00

Thanks for your help in advance.

@monocska3310 Can you show an image of what you have so far? Yes, you can place structural members from an Excel, but probably not in the way you are thinking... You first have to have the geometry in your Assembly, but it can easily be changed with the Excel. Although, depending on the end result and what envisioning for the final outcome, it might be easier to set up some iLogic templates to do that heavy lifting.

Are you familiar with the Frame Generator? If so, what is your reason for not using it and, if you are not familiar with it, you might check that out. I personally don't like the Frame Generator, as I feel I have more control with my own templates.

Will the final assembly be considered a weldment or bolted components? It looks like it's all Angle, so it should be fairly easy to lay this out
