Place from content center inventor 2027 doesn't work

I have downloaded inventor 2027, and I migrated the content center but if I use the place from content center function it gives an error. 

And if the files are created the ipt if I go to the content center folder I can place it without any trouble.

Does anyone has the same problem?

In the meantime, could you please post a screenshot of the error you see when placing from CC and more specify if this is your own family or copy-to/Save-copy as of our standard family? Did you place this family as Standard or as Custom?

I was able to test your Content Center library on my side (Inventor 2027), and both your custom library and the standard Autodesk Content Center libraries work correctly. I am using an English Windows 11 environment with administrator privileges.

Since the issue also occurs with standard Content Center libraries on your side, this indicates that the problem is most likely related to the local system configuration rather than the library itself.

We have seen similar cases in the past, typically caused by environment or permission-related settings. Could you please check the following:

1. Write permissions
   Make sure you have full write access to the Content Center Files folder (the location where Inventor generates CC parts).

2. Content Center Files location
   Verify the path in:
   Application Options → Content Center
   Avoid using OneDrive or network-synced folders if possible.

3. Controlled Folder Access / Antivirus
   Windows security or company antivirus policies may block Inventor from writing files.
   Try temporarily disabling Controlled Folder Access or allowing Inventor.

4. Active project configuration (.ipj)
   Ensure that the correct project is active and that Content Center libraries are properly enabled and set to In Use.

5. Test with a new Windows user profile
   This helps rule out user profile or permission issues.

These checks resolve the majority of similar Content Center placement issues.

thank you for your cooperation and for helping us identify this behavior.

Based on our testing, this appears to be a regression in Inventor 2027. I have logged the issue under ID INVGEN-90705 in our tracking system, and it will be investigated by our development team.

As a temporary workaround, please change the Content Center Files location to a simpler path and avoid using special characters such as # or $.

Please let me know if the workaround resolves the issue on your side.

FYI-this is what I am seeing for when I place anything that contains an AS 568 O-Ring. (And that's with the 2027 "Default" Project File).

We’re sorry for the trouble you’re experiencing when placing Content Center parts.

This is a known issue similar to the one discussed above. The affected O-ring families (AS 568) contain the “#” character in the file name, which causes the placement to fail.

The issue has been identified and will be fixed under INVGEN-90705 as soon as possible.
