Place/Edit Constrain

Hi Experts

What can cause this error other than a conflicting constrain ?

I know this can happen when a new mate/constrain is added and if it is conflicting an existing relation, this message can pop up.

But in the attached image, when I checked the tree, there are no sick relationships.

So, what can be a possible reason causing this ?

Do you have any relationships failing inside sub-assemblies?

@baliasM74U3

Please screenshot the diagnose relationship results.

What constraints were applied to create the error?

If you can attach the assembly in a zip folder if it is non confidential.

What version of inventor are you using?

How can I effectively use this "Relationship Conflict Analysis" tool to resolve my issue ?

Hi! Without seeing the actual files, it is very hard to comment. I suspect there are multiple constraint failures in your assembly. It is possible they are all related or they are unrelated. I would save the assembly as a different iam file. Then start suppressing the failed constraints. Then unsuppress it individually. It would be easier to see the relationship and why it fails. Sometimes it can be geometry inaccuracy. Please feel free to share the files here. Forum experts can help take a look.

Many thanks!
