Welcome to the community..

First you need to tell us what version of Inventor you are using.

Secondly have you started anything?  If so attach the Inventor part file and we can review it.  Show us what you are trying to accomplish.

Next what does your actually instruction say, what are you stuck on?

Where is your instructor?  What does this person have to say if you are telling us the instruction are too vague.  Can you get a clarification from them.

Sorry I'm not trying to be hard on you..

Hi s-nithomas,

Can you provide some more details on this project?

What version of Inventor are you using?

Have you tried creating a hole using the Hole tool and then  using the Rectangular Pattern tool to create the even spacing?

Do have some files that you have started, that you could attach?

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Hi s-nithomas,

Unfortunately, that link seems to go to a login specific site that only students or faculty of your school can access. Is there other infomation you can provide?

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Is that Inventor Professional 2014

or

Inventor Professional 2015

or

Inventor Professional 2016?

This is critically important information as the files are not backwards compatible.

There is nothing vague about those instructions at all..

They are clear and well defined..

Is there a specific section that is confusing for you?

What have you completed so far?

Have you discussed your "issues" with your teacher?

Let's walk through this step-by-step to completion of the assignment.

Start a new part file.

On the glass cube orient to the Top View.

Pegboard New Part.pngSketch1.png

Start a new sketch on the XZ Plane and then right click on the Center Point and select Visibility (you will have to expand the Origin folder first).  Sketch a circle with the center of the circle at the origin.  Post back for next instruction.

Dimension the circle Ø1 and then Extrude it 3inches.

Save with the name Round Peg and then attach the complete file here.

I will then give instruction for next part.

I do not see any files attached here?

Did you read my instruction?  (see post #3, 9 and 13)  They all instruct you to attach your completed work (what you have been able to do - finished or not) here.

Only by looking at your files can you be properly instructed.
