PDF creation of DWG has error on render of ISO view

Anyone had this issue, or know of a solution?

ISO view has ugly render when PDF is created.

This error occurs when done via iLogic, or the File > Export menu.

Hi! I think this has something to do with "Perspective" direction in the Iso view. Edit the Iso view -> click on the downward button next to the ViewCube -> select Orthogonal. Now, exporting to PDF should work fine.

This is kind of a limitation or a bug in PDF export. The issue here is that perspective view on a 2D space actually can look confusing, particularly, when it is placed next to other orthogonal views. On the other hand, PDF export should honor the intent and export exact geometry shown in the Inventor drawing.

Many thanks!

Thank you for your help @johnsonshiue!

As you mention, while an orthogonal view is a fix, it is not a solution.

Is this something that can be fixed? If so, what course of action can be taken from here? Distributing a drawing by PDF is ubiquitous, is it not? (It is for me!) I very much prefer the perspective ISO view over the orthogonal.

Hi! This is a bug. I would not expect it to be fixed immediately since it is specific to perspective direction in Iso view. Also, this is the first time I heard about the behavior. I will work with the project team and see how we can fix it.

Many thanks!
