Pattern on Helical 3D sketch guide plane

Hi ,

I'm trying to create a pattern on a 3D helical sketch,

My main problem is when using the rectangular pattern and setting a direction of the pattern , the extrusion follows the helical path however it tapers off as it moves inwards the helical path.

I know if it was a sweep I can set the sweep in reference to a guide plane, to eliminate the taper as needed and I was wandering if there's a similar method or solution to patterns.

Here's what I got so far,

Appreciate any ideas/tips helicalpattern1.JPG

Update:

I managed to get the pattern to follow the sweep surface from sketch driven pattern without any tapering,

However now the problem is the direction is lost, meaning the parts are not oriented correctly toward the center of the helix.

My instructions were to zip, not rar.

I do not own a rar extractor.

Zip comes free in Windows OS.

Simply right click on file (or folder) and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Attach the *.zip file here.

Not *.rar
