Parts Greyed out in assembly

Hi ,

I have received an assembly file.

May i know what does this greyed out part means?

I dont have the items in the assembly but i still can see in BOM.

It doesnt ask for to resolve link. And there is not ? to the parts.

Why is it like that?

Thank you.

Sharon

These are virtual parts.  They are created by the designer (usually to keep the model simple or for items you cannot see) & appear in the browser, BOM & item list.
