Hi there,
Today one of my coworkers came to me and had trouble checking in a part to the vault because it was "unresolved". I later noticed only in the Vault view that the part looked like it had an attachment?!?!
So we tried to "resolve" link on the part but that part it was looking for no longer exists. So we resolved it by picking any file, this made no difference to what you linked. You can even link an assembly makes no difference.
The person that created the file is no longer here. So I cant ask them how they did this.
What I have tried:
Deriving the part than deleting the original from vault.
Mirroring the part than deleting the original from vault.
Linking then deleting the original from vault.
None of these seemed to reproduce the outcome.
I have attached the file see if anyone else can figure it out.

A couple of things..
1. When posting and sharing files always indicate the version of Inventor you're using or what version last save this file. In your case its Inventor 2018.
2. Your link is associated to the un-resolved file being referenced under FX parameters.. Remove the source and user defined variables to remove the linked information.
