Optimum screen size

My school wants to purchase laptops to use Autodesk inventor. What is the optimum screen size for these devices

Laptop screen or laptop with a secondary monitor?  In addition this is not a licensing or installation issue and this question should be placed in the Inventor forum.  I will have the moderator relocate it there to better suit your needs.

As far as CAD work on a laptop - I would not specify less than 17" with full numeric keypad on right.

I have used 12, 15 & 17" screens on laptops, none of them are large enough.

I now have a 15" screen that only gets used when I'm on the road, when home it is connected to 2, 23" screens.

Ill forward to the IT team. Probably running with 22"+ on desktops and landing leader students HDMI link to WMB screens.
