What version of Inventor are you working with? Have you gone through the guided tutorials?

  • Create a Sketch
  • Make a Centerline from the Origin
  • Draw your outside profile with dimensions fully constrained
  • Finish Sketch
  • Revolve around Centerline as the axis

Attach your attempt here (might need to compress as .zip) for community experts to comment on.

Take a look at the screencast.  It is up to you how much detail you add to the original sketch and how much to add in later added features.  I elected to add two edge fillets in the first sketch so when I used the "Shell" command they would carry through to the inside is their size dictated it.  I also add a second feature to the outside to demonstrate.  Make sure all you feature sketches are fully constrained either with dimensions or sketch constraints.

Next time you post a forum question, please include your model(s) so those answering can answer in a more relevant way.
