OPENING AN ASSEMBLY GIVE ME AN IMPORT THING THAT I CAN'T USE

I have some assemblies that someone who is no longer with us made, and I can't figure out what's going on with them.  I am sure he created them in Inventor but when I insert them or open them they show up as imported components, see browser of picture.

 

Any Ideas?

Not that easy to tell from your image but it looks like you might be opening 2019 data back in 2018.

 

What version of Inventor are you using ?
