Open Documents in Session Model States

Open Documents in Session value does not always update with Model States suppression.  

The previous LOD tool would always update the Open Documents in Session.

In 2023.3 when many components are suppressed using Model States, the Open Documents in Session does NOT update.

In 2021 when many components are suppressed using LODs, the Open Documents in Session does update.

Hi Steve,

The behavior does not look right to me. Unless there is preexisting corruption, the suppressed components should be discounted. Please share an example that exhibits the behavior with me directly. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Here is another example with 2023.3, video.  The Model State Foundations in the parent was linked to the Model State Foundations of the child assembly.

Many thanks for sharing the files! As I replied to you in the email, I am able to see the behavior. There seems to be files-specific defective behaviors here. I would like to follow up with the project team to understand the behavior better.
