One Assembly, using 2 different BOMs without interference

I have an assembly where one bill of materials calls out certain parts, and a second bill of materials that will include some parts from the 1st BOM but will not show up in another page with a BOM callling parts in different LOD, View Rep.

I am discovereing when I change order of parts in the second BOM, its interfearing with the 1st BOM.  Is there a way to have 2 BOMs showing only certain parts and can be re-ordered without messing up the 1st BOM.

This is for one assembly model, but neeed to call out different layouts where some parts exist and some dont in the second Page BOM.

Not sure if this makes any sense.

Thanks

Hi! The item numbers are associated with the BOM and the iam file containing the BOM. The only way to do what you are asking is to have two iam files. Simply save the iam file as a different name. Then the BOM in the new assembly can have a different set of item numbers.

Many thanks!
