Offset tool in sketch environment doesn't work with loop selection disable

Hi, I'm trying to offset a complex sketch but am unable to do so. The simplest solution would be to offset problematic lines separately and then trim and fillet them manually. In order to do that, I need to be able to select a specific sketch line.

The offset tool in the sketch environment selects loops by default, so I've started the command, activated the context menu with RMB, and disabled loop selection. Unfortunately, it seems like offset completely stops working without loop selection. I can't even get a straight line to offset, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Well, it seems I've posted for no reason. Turns out that when loop selection is enabled the offset lines are generated right after selecting the loop, but when it's disabled one has to select the line, then confirm it with enter, and only after that an offset line is generated.

I've managed to figure that one out by means of my finger cleverly slipping and hitting the enter key by accident at the the right time.

The universe made you accidentally hit the Enter key.... 😅  Thank you for sharing your solution for others to find!
