Now have two versions of Inventor

I recently upgraded to 2018 Professional from 2015 Professional.  I expected 2018 to install over 2015 leaving the upgraded version with my existing preferences and templates - but ... no!  I now have both versions.  In fact, I have quite a list of Autodesk entities:

There must be a way to rationalize all this (and to ease the burden on my overworked 'C' drive).  How can it be done?

Thanks

No if you install a new version it will not update. you can run both versions at one time.
To uninstall you can use the Autodesk uninstall tool, but don't know if that works with the 2015 version.
Or sort on date 31/07/2015 in your case, that way you will find the most of them.

Thanks Robert

My concern about uninstalling 2015 is that, in doing so, I might delete files which 2018 would use.

I guess the question is, "Can I simply uninstall 2015 without causing problems for 2018?"

Yes, no problem.
Just go to the list and uninstall the ones where you see 2015.
If you are not sure, leave them installed.

You can definitely use the Autodesk Uninstall tool on 2015 versions-- much easier than picking through the Uninstall Programs list.  But you might want to go back to Inventor 2015 and export your Application Options, customizations, iLogic rules, etc. before you uninstall it, so those can be applied to 2018.
