No default drawing templates in 2015?

Hi all,
I just updated to 2015 product design site.
All going well with modelling, but when I try to open a new drawing file, I get a message saying templates need migrating? Has a little sub message that says to migrate them just open and resave them.
issue it the exits out of the open drawing dialogue.
I just want the default metric templates. Any idea where they are installed? And how do I 'open' them?
Thanks

Accepted solution
The default location for Templates is: Users>Public>Public Documents>Autodesk>Inventor 2015. Make sure that Inventor is pointed to this

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Sounds like you are opening a last versions Template. Since we have our own templates. This is the first thing that we do it open each Template and Migrate to current version and then do the "Save-As Template".

Ben,

I think you browsed for you old IPJ and it is pointing to 2014 locations.

Are others in your location using the same IPJ with a 2014 product?

Sounds like you exported your old Inventor settings and imported them into the new version. This is why it's pointing to the 2014 template directory. Check your Application>File:

The Default should look like this:

Capture1.JPG

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file

Thanks for all the help, issue ended up being that I had not migrated the project file, so it was still pointing to 2014 templates and so the default were pointing to 2015 templates but the defaults were being overridden by the project file pointing to the wrong place.

Created a new 2015 project and are currently using it with much more success.  Thanks all again.
