Can someone tell me what the minimum send and receive connection speed is for working with Autodesk Inventor?

If you are going to be working off network storage or using a local Vault a 1 gigabit network connection is good. Personally I've seen having an older slower server hosting files causing slower speeds versus the network connection causing an issue.

Hi! Inventor by itself does not rely on network. The network plays a role in two ways. On startup, Autodesk License Manager will check the license via your network. Periodically, it will check during the session also. Another operation depends on the network speed is to open a file from a shared network folder or Vault server. Certainly the faster the network speed, the better.

However, the faster network speed does not translate to overall Inventor performance besides the above mentioned operations.

Many thanks!
