netfabb configure printer

Note- This is probobly the wrong forum, but there was no netfabb or meshmixer forum sections I could find, and someone asked a question about netfabb before...

the [autodesk] project escher team advised me to check netfabb for the mutli gantry slicing.
At the moment I am unable to find where to set up the machine...?!

Online help says that new machines have to be added in the parent application (netfabb Ultimate) but I cannot see any parent application...?!

kind regards,

joris

Hello;

The "Escher" multi-gantry functionality has been present in Netfabb since the 2017 release. It is currently accessed through 4 workspaces:

  • Generic Multi-Gantry FFF
  • Kloner 3D 240 Twin
  • Titan Cronus
  • Titan Prometheus

If you open one of those workspaces, you'll have the options available to prepare toolpaths for an "Escher" style machine configuration with multiple gantries

Regards,

Greg

Dear Team,

I am curious to know the status of this Project Escher? Is the plugin still available?

Multihead gantry looks very promising, but in the mainstream, I didn't see any 3D printers available.

Even the Titan Cronus is not in the sale.
