Thanks for sharing. Can you specify which exact model of the HyCut series you are using?
Once you have created a Nest using Inventor Nesting, you can either export it as 'DXF' or generate a 2D profile toolpath for your plasma machine. A postprocessor is a piece of software that takes this toolpath and converts it to the NC file that can be read by your machine's controller to drive the equipment.
For some machines, loading a simple DXF file is sufficient and the controller can generate cutting instructions (NC program). And in other scenarios, the toolpath is converted to NC program in a CAM software and the NC file is loaded on the controller without any additional post processing at the machine.
