NEST 2023 QUESTIONS

Hi all,

I just nested my first significant job.  51 unique parts of varying quantity across 12 sheets of varying material and thicknesses.  I then exported each sheet to dxf for delivery.  This job has raised a few questions that would help us reduce additional processing elsewhere.

1) When exported to dxf, the header information does not get exported as well.  The result is that I have to manually add the material spec to each dxf created.  Is there a way to make sure the header exports?

2) Layers - The cutting table expects layer 0 to represent the ID cuts and layer 1 to be all other cuts.  In the export configuration file I do not see where I can set the layers for ID cuts.  Is there such a setting that I maybe do not recognize?

Thanks for the help,

Steven
