Need some help cleaning up a solid

I am somewhat new to Inventor and am struggling to find a way to remove the excess extrusion from the outside of this wing. I am trying to test some internal structures. I made surface profiles along the outside faces to mark what needs to be removed. (I.E everything on the outside of the wing) Any advice is appreciated. Let me know if I need to elaborate or clarify anything.

I should be able to figure out how you did it. I have one question though. What did the approach of two lofts do?
