Hi All firstly I apologise if this is in the incorrect section, as I did not know where else to post.
I have an issue with a 3D model that I have produced, I have only just realised that the 2 holes that i have created in inventor are at angles with the slope, and not straight, please see the image for my meaning.
I need to be able to somehow either remove these holes and start again, or angle them to follow the line of the upright walls as seen in the wireframe image. please help

Did you us the hole command to create them?
Looking at your image, you might want to think about placing vertical plane at the center of one of the holes and creating a revolved cut. Then pattern it to create the second.

You need to create a workplane .. or as cadmanto said a revolve if you don't want to use the hole command.
Thank you both for the speedy response very much appreciated! i will look at that plane method you described to create the holes. To get back to fill the holes, I managed to create a sketch of a circle, and extrude to fill it in, now i have the end of the extrusion highlighted blue, which has filled the hole but it is protruding from the base as you can see from the picture , how can I flatten the protrusion to match the profile of the base? I tried the chamfer tool, but no luck, Thank You so much for the help.

A modification to @mcgyvr method is to place your workplane at a distance from the base of the part to represent the bite thickness of the screw. Then use the hole command as indicated earlier. See screencast

You really do not want to plug the holes! It just adds a lot of confusing extra extrusions to the model. You should delete the hole features and create them using one of the suggested methods. If you have your heart set on doing it your way, go back to your extrusion and edit it and select the "Extents" option "TO" and select the bottom surface of your model. It will only extrude flush to the bottom and no trimming will be required.
Please reconsider using this method.

You have not posted your model so I can only guess how you created your holes. I am guessing your sketched them and extruded them. If this is the case, simply delete the feature and also the sketch (this is automatic if you allow it). Then create the holes using one of the methods already suggested.
You should attach your model so those on the forum can diagnosis your situation and make "good" suggestions instead of making us guess what your intentions are. Please do this now!

No, it is has not shown up yet. You use the Browse icon to find your file, select it and the name will appear in your post. Then you select "Post" at the bottom to transfer it.

You are trying to send the path of the file, not the file. When you browse for the file, you select it then Open it to attach it to the message. I did get your Google Drive file but you need to learn how to use the forum correctly. Others on the forum will not use Google Drive due to security reasons. Take a look at these two screen captures.

You must be new to Inventor and have not leaned the basics. Your model has numerous un-constrained sketches, a real no-no in Inventor. You also have an unnecessary sketch just sitting there doing nothing. I only show you how to redo the holes and I left the rest of the model alone. I also could not pull exact dimensions from your model so I just used some approximate ones, please check.
