multiple part views, how to set hierarchy

There are times when I place views from different parts on one sheet. The part number that displays in the title is determined by which part view is dropped onto the sheet first. Once all part views are laid on the sheet, is there any way to change the "hierarchy" so that the part number displayed in the title block is driven by a different part view on the sheet?

I'm not aware of anyway to do what you're asking.  But there are a couple of work-arounds.  You could change your title block so that it shows the drawing part number instead of the model part number.  You could copy all the views to another sheet, then delete all the views except the one you want to grab the part number from, then copy all the views back to the original sheet.

Try this: create a new sheet in the drawing; move the views that are above the desired view in the browser to the new sheet, then move them back to the original sheet; delete the new sheet.  This effectively rearranges the order of the views on the sheet.

Hi! Another option is to copy the entire sheet and use Replace Model Reference to swap out the part. The sheet specific properties are associated with model in the first base view you place on the sheet.

Many thanks!
