Is there a way to turn on shading in the model tree to follow a single part tree of a part in an assembly, or an assembly inside of of another assembly?
If you can follow along in the images, I am not the artistic type, I am just trying to show changes in shading as the tee drops to help with tree searches as assembly size increases specifically for my use.

This does not exist yet, but you can submit an Inventor idea and it will eventually get looked at for implementation:

P.S.: I am not sure if via API you can achieve this.
