Model Corner Panel

Hi,

I'm modeling a steel corner panel. I model it from a AutoCAD drawing. If I overlap the DWG and the sheet metal flat from Inventor, everything is ok, but in the center of corner I have gap between CAD and Inventor.

I attached a CAD with Inventor flat in blue, CAD drawing in white and red, and a overlay with indication of gap.

I try to place a corner joint in the model but it show me error.

Thanks

You need to attach the model as well.

What version are you running?

The Autocad drawing is incorrect.

Look at where that line is in relation to the bend radius.. It shouldn't be inline with the bend line as its down further at the bend radius extent.

@mcgyvr  is correct.

But, there are settings that you can adjust to get it more of what you might possibly be looking for either in the sheet metal tab under settings or in the actual flange dialog.

Can you explain what parameter should I modify in sheet metal settings?

@Cadmanto was simply stating that you can modify settings "IF" needed for all sorts of sheet metal bend relief shapes/radius,etc... That depends on exactly what you want though..

However as stated your Autocad flat pattern is wrong (or not preferred as it would cause distortion/tearing,etc... of that edge during forming) and Inventors is "better".

Thanks, I thought that was a problem of AutoCad but I have the confirmation.
