Miscalculated Tolerance

I've opened this post here thanks to a quick chat with @CGBenner. He proposed to also tag the QA-team @johnsonshiue and @ChrisMitchell01.

Even if it's just sporadic, I've encountered this behaviour just once (in the attached file), I think it's worthwhile reporting.

I've started playing around with the tolerance feature in a simple file made for 3d-printing. As you can see in the screenshot the inner two edge's lengths are toleranced, while the 4mm width is not. For dim 30 -0.05/-0.1 the 'Evaluate Size'/ 'Upper'-setting is activated. The correct calculation should be (30mm-0.05mm)+2*4mm=37.95mm. Using AIP's measuring tool, this value comes out correctly.

For reasons I've now placed a driven dim at the two vertices of the left short inner edge and it _in_correctly shows 38.025mm, a delta of 0,075mm. A second driven dim attached to the two edges again shows the correct value.

If I delete the wrong dim and set a new driven one, I can not repeat the wrong number.

Nevertheless - it's persistent in the part and in the parameters in this file version and is definetely something that should not occur.

Hi Lars,

It is absolutely wrong. It seems to have skipped a compute event. I tried Manage -> Rebuild All and the driven dimension updated correctly. If you find out how to reproduce it from scratch, please let us known.

Many thanks!
