Minimum iMac configuration for Inventor ?

Hello,

Do you know what is the minimum configuration to run Inventor on a iMac ?

I would like to buy a used iMac and its graphic hardware (AMD Radeon HD 6750M) is not on the list of certified graphic hardware.

why a MAC?

A mac is more reliable than a PC

Inventor doesn't run a MAC OS so you still have to run Windows on our MAC

@eric.daunay I'd argue against Mac being more reliable but as Ryan has said you're going to have to run Bootcamp/Parallels to run Inventor on a Mac which if you're only going to run Inventor really defeats the point of getting a Mac, IMHO.

Minimum Spec would be a 6 Core I5, 8GB RAM (Preferably 16GB), and 4GB GPU which would set you back £1449.

Whereas a similarly specc'd Windows machine would set you back £800-£1000

Windows is definitely more value for money and as long as you maintain the PC and keep it updated then it will be reliable.
