Measure window keeps resizing?

Hello everyone,

I use Inventor 2018 professional, italian edition.

I have an issue with the resize window. Whenever I want to measure something, it gets resized to a "default" size, hiding the measurement.

I've tried resizing the window by the corner, but everytime I restart Inventor the problem reappears. I think it has something to do with the "Lunghezza totale linea chiusa" (total closed loop length), which might be longer than the default english value thus giving a sizing problem.

Does anybody know how to solve this? I can live with it but it's very annoying after a while. Thanks!

how many inventor sessions do you operate with?

try this:

close down all Inventor sessions

open inventor, change the measure tab width

close down inventor and wait 10-15 seconds (or until task manager doesn't show any Inventor.exe running)

start Inventor and test the measure command.

Hi!

I tried the same workflow at my end but seems like Measure dialog always remember it's last size. Please find attached video to review it.

Am I missing anything here?

If you can still reproduce it, please share a video showing, how you are resizing measure dialog and what kind of setting you have within Measure dialog.

Thanks

Maulik

Does anyone know the VBA code for deciding the size of the window?

Hi! Are you seeing an issue? If yes, do you have a workflow reproducing the behavior?

Many thanks!

@johnsonshiue Sorry to say but it doesn´t seem like I can reproduce this "issue" at will. I will try to catch it on video and attach it in this post when I get it.

Thank you for your response.
