Measure Tool Resets Precision But Only For Primary Unit

Hello,

I am having a mildly annoying issue. When I use the measure tool and set the precision to "All Decimals" it works fine once. But when I close it and then open it to take another measurement it appears as the below image. You can see the Primary Unit, inches, went back to the document setting of 3 decimal places but the Precision is still set to All Decimals. Oddly enough, if I have Dual Units on, the dual unit (mm in this case) retains the Precision of All Decimals.

The document setting is what determines what the precision goes back to but I cannot change that setting across all documents, therefore I would like the measure tool to reflect the precision that is shown. Thank you all!

What version of Inventor are you using, and what update level?  I seem to recall something similar happening to me, but not currently.

Hi Tyler,

On 2021 and earlier, the Measure tool precision and unit are based on the document settings (Tools -> Doc Settings -> Units). It does not persist based on last used settings. Now it has been changed to last use based since Inventor 2022.
