Mass of assembly not updating

Hey

I currently often run into the same problem. I have an assembly containing an .ipt with a custom weight which is manually written into the file. The Iproperties of the assembly is showing the correct weight and I clicked on "update". Nontheless the drawings of said assemblys often times show wrong weights.

my current "fix" to this is to change some things around in the assembly and updating the weights every time until the weight on the drawing finally updates and changes aswell. this sometimes takes me 15 tries of updating the assembly while the weight on the drawing is not changing at all. Reopening the drawing of .iam doesnt change anything too.

My workflow usually is copying an existing .iam with drawing and then adapting things on the assembly for a new design. In these cases where the weight doesnt update I usually end up with the weight of the original .iam i copied from. Is there a way to not have this issue or easier fix it then randomly trying to tinker around for 5 mins per drawing?

Id like to provide the .iam and drawing but with all the parts attached behind it it probably wouldnt work.

Here you can see the issue I just had again. In this case the weight even updated but from a wrong value to a different wrong value without me changing anything pysically in the assembly.

Hi! It seems that you might be using Model States. The mass prop update may not have been saved properly. If possible, please share the files in zip here. I would like to understand the mass updating issue.

Many thanks!

Hi
Thank you for your anwer. I think this might be actually it. I will observe it in the next days and report back if I cant fix the issue via model states. I wasnt even aware that this was used in the models.
Sharing the files might not be that simple as the zip files are about 70 mb in size and cannot be shared publicly.
