Make Components problem after last update

Hi,

after the last update I can't add body from part file to existing assembly. When I need to click next, it is grayed. I can only create a new assembly with that body.

This is a serious problem for me, how do I solve this problem?

Known issue - wait for update to fix the update.

In the meantime, do Make Part instead and then place into the assembly.

Hi Kresh,

We are still working on the fix. I cannot commit on a date. I don't think it will be available within a few weeks due to holidays.

Many thanks!

Uninstalling the update is not possible after installation via "Custom Install" version 2022.2 (upgraded in January from 2019 - 2022)

Hopefully the solution will be available soon.

This is very annoying

Yes, many people know!  And those people know that the answer is: Yes, this is fixed in 2022.2.1.

Hi! Just an update on this issue. Though it was indeed fixed in 2022.2.1 update, due to other issues, 2022.2.1 was pulled down. We are in the process of rebuilding 2022.2.2. It will be available soon. Once it becomes available, please install it on top of 2022.2 or 2022.2.1. I am very sorry for the delay and the confusion.

Many thanks!

Hi Folks,

The 2022.2.2 update has been released. Please download it via Autodesk Desktop App or log on to your Autodesk account to get it. It can be installed on top of 2022.2 or 2022.2.1.

Many thanks! I am sorry for the delay.
