Hello,
I have been reading a lot about changing the direction while using a lofted flange feature. My problem is how to workaround this efficiently.
I have been making 2 sheets on different planes and using face command to connect the sheets but this is time-consuming if working on complex parts.
Do you know alternative techniques or is there a way to change the direction somehow?
The attachment signals the primary objective.
Thank you for your time and effort.

Hi Guys,
I am sorry I don't understand the issue based on the image. Could you guys elaborate the request here?
Many thanks!
Sorry for the much delayed response,
I found an idea from the forums explaining this problem a bit better with images:
Simply put, the bend is wrong.
Often the lofted flange creates a wrong bend and there is no changing that.
When encountered, I have to create the sheet manually and that takes a bit of extra time.
Is this a common problem or have I missed something?
Thank you for your patience,
Hi! This is an interesting case. Basically, you have two oblique lines in the space. You have to fit two planar faces. There are two solutions in any given pair of lines. Lofted Flange seems to stick with one. I guess you may consider using Face command. Essentially, you create two triangular sketches and make each as a Face. Then create Bend between them.
Many thanks!
