Loft Rail Curve Repair

Hello Community,

I made a change to this part and now one of the Loft features is failing. The Design Doctor says to repair the rail curve because one or more rails are not intersecting the sections. I've used constraints to lock the curves to both sections and it still is failing. I know you guys are gurus. This is what it should look like:

Loft Rail Curve Repair

Hello Community,

I made a change to this part and now one of the Loft features is failing. The Design Doctor says to repair the rail curve because one or more rails are not intersecting the sections. Hi!

 

Tip:

Clean your sketch... project only the geometry you need, and turn in construction geometry the geometry you don't need to select for the tools.

Reconnect the points in the image....and that's it...

Hi! Another approach I would consider is to create a Loft surface between the two profiles without using the rails. Then use Sculpt to remove the unwanted portion from the body.
