Loft doesn't have consistent cross section

I am trying to model a fork of a bike using a Loft command and I keep getting a cross section that necks between (2) of my section. The more sections I put in it just keeps moving up my center line. I am apparently doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached the model.

I would use as few sections as possible and add some Guide Rails.

Also, you should install the latest Service Pack for your version of Inventor.

Hi! Here is an alternative using Guide Rail Sweep. It does not pass through all the sections exactly but fairly close. The section transition is a lot smoother. The reason why Loft does not work as well in this case is that the Loft is under-defined. Any G2 surface passing these sections can be considered a legitimate solution. Keeping section transition smooth isn't a criterion. Guide Rail Sweep may be a bit harder to set up but the geometry is more predictable.

Many thanks!

I used a combination of Loft and Sweep and reduced the number of sections I used and i was able to get the desired results.

Thanks
