Linking the CAD model to an excel sheet.

Hi All

INV2018

I need a live excel sheet that get updates with changes i make in CAD model

I have been working on a CAD model and an excel sheet at the same time. Several information from the CAD model will be used to do the calculations in the excel sheet (mainly dimensions and center of gravity). Is their any option in inventor to make my task easier to some extent ?

Problem concept : The problem  i am trying to solve is about finding the load at A and B (governed by some simple bending moment equations) when compartment is loaded at different levels. Please find the attached image and CAD models.

Do the calculations need to happen in Excel, or could they happen within Inventor? Are the 3 sections always the same density?

What are the variables? I'm guessing density, (3x) levels, and tilt angle?

Glad that someone came with a question. I would prefer the calculations to happen in Excel.
