Linking Model Parameter to Weld Note

Hi I'm looking to see if anyone has ever tried to link a parameter from their model to a weld note.  We've got quantity callouts that are parameters in the model that I'd like to link to the weld note but it doesn't appear that there's a way to do that.  And we can't use TYP like a bunch of normal people either because people have abused that privilege...

Hi Eric,

I don't think there is an out-of-box solution here. The Weld Note is a special annotation which does not use drawing text object. As a result, the properties cannot be populated there easily. I believe it might be doable using iLogic rule (automating the manual process). But, for this case, it does require a little bit Inventor API knowledge and programming skills.
