Linetype scales for Auxiliary lines, and Section lines (.idw)

I'm not sure if it's inventor that has this problem, or if it is something I am missing. A few older posts seem to have had the same problem, but they are of a different IV version (the one I use is r11 sp1)My problem is as follows:

Basically, the section line layer acts as if the scale by line weight option is being applied to it. But its not.

I changed the lineweight of all the layers except for "visible lines" to .001. All the objects in my drawing behave as desired (the correct line weight, and the correct ltscale) except for section lines or auxiliary lines and I have no idea why (see pic of aux line). I can't RMB them and change their properties individually. I tried creating new layers, but that doesnt work. Changing the lineweight is the only thing that works. But I need the lines to be .001 thk.

Does anyone know what's going on here?

First thing would be to load the other two service packs to see if that
fixes the problem.

HAS ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCED THIS...??

IVE SPENT A LOT OF HOURS MODIFYING OUR COMPANY'S STYLES TO SUIT OUR WORK.... WE FABRICATE LARGE SCALE FASCADES AND COMPOSITE STRUCTURES TO THE BUILDING INDUSTRY AND REQUIRE OUR LINETYPES TO BE 0.01-0.13MM IN THICKNESS DUE TO THE SCALES WE WORK WITH...

AS SOON AS I SCALED ALL LINETYPES DOWN I TOO HAVE A SECTION LINE THAT IS SO SMALL IN SCALE THAT IT PLOTS AS A SINGLE CONTINUOUS LINE...

EXACTLY AS SHOWN BY THE IMAGE SUPPLIED BY THE FIRST GUY TO POST THIS...

HAS ANYONE GOT A SOLUTION OR EXPERIENCED THIS... INCREDIBLY ANNOYING AND MISLEADING TO THOSE RECEIVING OUR DWGS...

PLEASE HELP..!

Which Inventor version do you use?  This issue was fixed recently in Inventor 2017.

@shiyong.lin And is that update available or released yet for 2017?

Also "Global Line Scale" does not seem to effect section view linetypes in 2017.. I would expect it to apply to all line types including section view linetype scales..
