Hello!

I need to make this exercise in Inventor 2024 and i dont know how to even begin doing it. Is there any one out there that could help me understand it?

You can create new parts (.ipt) for each component, and then create an assembly (.iam). Once you have an assembly file, you can place each component into that assembly file and constrain together. How much training have you had with the software?

I have had some training with the program. Im following a CAD book that has been very simple to use. But in this exercise they want me to do this lever from just the "drawings" in the pictures i attached.

I know how to do the parts and draw them out but some steps i just dont understand, like how to get the holes to be a M6 with like screw lines inside. If that makes any sence. :S

So i think i managed to do it if anyone out there need help. It probably isnt perfect but. I will send the files if somone need a hand out there.

I did this in Inventor 2025, so you will not be able to open it.  Here is my main sketch:

Since the part is essentially symmetric in two directions, I lazily modeled only a quarter of it, then mirrored the entire solid body twice to finish, then added the one feature (top hole) which is not symmetric.

 

I also modeled both parts as separate solid bodies in the same file, taking advantage of repeated parameters and hole alignments.  Here's the resulting part file (which can then be derived into individual part files and assembled):
