Issues with software not responding to mouse input placing a dimension.

Is they a known issue / bug when placing a dimension. Sporadically when I place dimensions get to the stage in the process where I am prompted to select additional geometry or dimension location. At this point I can move the pointer around the screen as normal but when I left click I just get a bell sound and nothing happens. I have tried to use enter and delete but nothing happens. The only solution I have found to move on is to ctrl - del and close the program losing any unsaved work in the process.

It only happens once every 20 or so sessions but I do need to get it fixed.

If it not a known bug, any ideas would be welcome.

Hi Nick,

I am not aware of a behavior like this. Please install Inventor 2021.1 update to see if it helps. Then try using Inventor Reset Utility (All Programs -> Autodesk -> Inventor 2021 -> Tools). Please note that all settings will be reset back to install default.
