Issue with exporting DWG cad file dimensions with double unit (mm/inches)

Hi everyone,

I'm having an annoying problem when I export an Inventor DWG drawing to an Autocad DWG file.

When in the drawing, there is a dimension with double units (mm and inches) the result of the conversion is like this:

some dimensions in inches with a fraction are not displayed correctly, and I don't know how to fix it...

I found that for unknown reasons the conversion adds an overridden text dimension

which I have to delete in Autocad and remove also all the overridden dimension styles.

Can anyone help me to understand what could be the reason of that?

Thank you

Hi! This could be a bug or a limitation in Inventor (exporting to AutoCAD). Without seeing the files, it is impossible to tell. One workflow to consider is to use AutoCAD EXPORTLAYOUT command. Open the Inventor dwg file (save idw as Inventor dwg, not AutoCAD dwg) in AutoCAD. Then use EXPORTLAYOUT command to export the sheet. Does it work better now?

Many thanks!
