ISSUE : Auto Balloon in inventor 2018

There was no abnormality before Inventor 2018, but Auto Balloon is duplicated in Inventor 2018.

It takes too much time to check everything.

Can you provide more details in what you're seeing..  Create an Autodesk Screencast showing the actual issue.

I'm with @Mark.Lancaster - it's a little unclear what the problem is, so a Screencast (or at least an image) would help.  What exactly do you mean by "autoballoon is duplicated"?

Do you mean that if you have multiple instances of the same part, you get balloons on all of them?  If so, make sure the "Ignore Multiple Instances" box is checked.

I believe this is the same as the following thread. There is indeed a change in behavior in Auto-Balloon. In 2017 and earlier, Auto-Balloon would filter out already ballooned items in another view so that there would not be duplicate balloons.

This change in behavior was also requested by some users, who would like to be able to balloon all components at any time. This is a case that we need an option to control the behavior instead of sticking to one behavior. The behavior will be reverted in 2018.1. The old Auto-Ballooning behavior will be restored. A better solution will be pursued later.

I'm updating this old thread, asking for an update - the original post was a little vague, but Johnson's response is exactly what I'm looking for.

I understand that many people like the Auto Balloon to ignore items that are already ballooned, but my company is in the group that prefers to balloon in multiple views (large assemblies). Therefore, I'm interested in Johnson's comment "...an option to control the behavior instead of sticking to one behavior....solution will be pursued later."

We're using 2019. It seems to be locked as original. Any word on this?
