Is there an easy way to regenerate content center parts?

I was asked to add an Iproperty to the fasteners in our content center leading me to ask, is there a way to get Inventor to regenerate/rebuild those ipt files? Or is my only recourse to try deleting the parts in the individual folders and deal with everybody being irritated until we get all of our assemblies fixed?

Using Inventor 2026 on Windows 11

Ideas needing support: spur gear tooth profile, rack gears generator

Yes, you can modify the library and have it update existing parts.

 

Either automatically with this setting in the Application options when you place existing parts:

Or do it manually when you open an Aassembly and Refresh the existing parts.
