I want to ask if there is a way to add texture to the models in inventor. I saw someone use it on 3D prints in order to hide print layers and it would be amazing for making brick forms for my model dioramas and such. Thank you for help

Yes, in Autodesk Inventor, you can apply textures to your models to enhance their appearance. However, when exporting to .stl or .step files, the textures themselves do not directly export with the model. These file formats typically only contain geometry information. To achieve the effect you're looking for, you may need to apply the texture within the software you're using to prepare your 3D prints. For example, in slicer software like Ultimaker Cura or Simplify3D, you can apply a texture or pattern to the surface of your model to hide print layers. Alternatively, you can explore painting or post-processing techniques to achieve the desired visual effect after printing. If you have any further questions or need assistance with specific steps, feel free to ask!
