Is Auto Balloon possible with isometric or custom orientated view sets?

I am trying to auto balloon an iso view. I can do single balloon placement but not auto balloon. When I select the view set no balloons appear and I am not able to select components in drawing view to apply the auto balloons to it.

I could have sworn I have done this in the past but maybe I am missing something here. Thanks

Did you select the view then components? Try a window-selection from right to left:

I thought it was this simple, but it isn't working on my isometric views as you can see in the videos I attached. Does not recognize the edges on selection for some reason so placement button does not become available. I was thinking I was doing something wrong but did exactly as you advice. Not sure what may be going on.

I think I figured out the problem. I edited my BOM and broke it up in sections for different sheets but I am repeating similar item numbers within the Bom. I believe that is causing the problem. I have multiple yellow cells in parts table since I am sharing similar item numbers.

Works fine without the part list/bom edited on a clean model .
