Ipart files not generating

I have an ipart that I have updated and saved.  When I attempt to generate the files, not all files generate.

When I check my vault workspace, a handful of files still have the older date.  I try to generate just the files with the older date, and nothing happens.  I delete the older files from my vault workspace, and regenerate the files again.  The files regenerate, but it is still the older date!!!

I have no idea how to get these files to update!!

Iparts and Vault... Not the best mix of workflows.

I use an update assembly for managing iParts in Vault.  I create an assembly that contains all the member ipart files.  No need to constrain anything, just dump them all in the file.  This file is saved in the ipart member directory and is checked into Vault.

Whenever I make a change to the iPart Factory, I start by checking-out and opening the latest update assembly from Vault.  I also check out all the members and the factory file.  I make sure that the update assembly has any new members that have been created since the last time the factory file was updated.  I then make the changes to the factory file and save it.  When I go back to the update assembly, I do a rebuild all command, and save everything.  This procedure forces Inventor and Vault to update all the member files at once.  Then I add any new member files that I created with the changes to the factory file.  Once everything is updated and saved, I check the update assembly back into Vault.

Are you ever being prompted to check the files out? If not, then I can see the files not being pushed to vault. Could try checking out the children, then running the generate files, and see if they are updated that way.

Hi! Did you check out the iPart factory file and all its member files? You can simply open the iPart factory file and go to Manage -> Rebuild All. Then generate the members you want and check them back in.

Many thanks!
